It's not necessary to purchase expensive CAD software and spend weeks of valuable time learning to plot a deed, draw a site plan suitable for submission for a building permit, scope out the subdivision potential of a tract of land, prepare a forestry management map, etc. Cameron Software's LandPlot series programs have been developed specifically to draw plats, easily and accurately, and are priced well below CAD software. They can be learned in a fraction of the time required to learn CAD software and will generate high quality results in much less time and with much less effort.
LandPlot is our signature program. It is the least expensive, is the easiest to use, and is designed specifically to draw property boundaries and building setbacks from straight line and circular arc deed calls. It meets the needs of attorneys, title examiners, assessors, realtors, and others who need to check the validity and accuracy of deed descriptions.

Users of a Palm PDA might be interested in beta testing LandPlotPalm, a new Cameron Software product. LandPlotPalm will run on any Palm PDA and accepts a "metes & bounds' description of a land parcel in terms of straight line, chord arc, and tangent arc deed calls. A drawing of the parcel is generated on the PDA screen along with calculations of the exact enclosed area, perimeter, and closure error.

QuikPlatPro32 adds a large number of features to QuikPlatLit32 including a layer structure and the ability to print maps in color. With the layer structure the user can assign items to the layers of which the site drawing is comprised, select which layers are to be viewed and/or printed, and specify both the names and the colors to be assigned to the various layers. QuikPlatPro32 also permits convenient interface with GIS systems by exploiting its layer structure. Scanned maps can be loaded to serve as a background on which new constructions may be entered. QuikPlatPro32 can also import drawings from SepticPlanner. QuikPlatPro32 also has an improved help system which eliminates the need for additional documentation, the ability to assign arbitrarily long names to saved files, the ability to import DXF files containing up to 100 layers, and a feature permitting the use of icons in the site drawings.
